Fookin' hell who bought you that?

The same friends who told me Graham was touring, only for it to turn out to be Bruce Foxton. They meant well, I shouldn't be too disparaging, but it's one to wear under a jumper.

It was a bit awkward, I opened it in their company and had my son going "who's that?" I guessed, but wasn't at all sure I'd got it right. Very Happy

Sounds like they put a lot of thought into it, even if it's not quite to your taste!

You could try and exchange it for this rather charming fashion statement - a cartoon 'Mel and Sue' from Bake Off.

Haha, that does look more like Mel & Sue.

Let's have a game of 'Guess the Redbubble Celebrity'.

I'll start with an easyish one.

Very poor!

It's Sonya from Echobelly. It's almost a photgraphic likeness. Smile

Jeez, that contained more cheese than an Alex James Festival. I bet Debbie Smith wished she was still in Curve! Smile

I wonder what happened to Toni Halliday? She was absolutely stunning and made me question my sexuality for a bit. ha

They're back together. I had to laugh, I had an ad for a gig in Norwich pop up in my Facebook feed and someone commented "wtaf? When did Echobelly start to look like parents at the world's most middle class parents' evening?"

I guess we're all getting older.

I prefer this one, great example of 90s guitar:

Shocked

The Spinning Top T-shirt you'd sent me was awesome (and smelled nice! Very Happy ) and I'll never thank you enough for it, but please, keep that one for yourself, will ya? Laughing

I wasn't going to comment on the latest islamic terror attack in Britain, just as I didn't on the last two. I could go on about what we need to do but I know that wouldn't sit well with the other posters on this forum, so I won't bother.

hello Steve - Yeah - these are Strange Times
For sure -

I watch a little bit of News -
lately with theDonald and his ilk
dominating the news cycles here in the
Good Ole USA - OMG - i'm guessing -
but i think the same evil shit is
gonna start pretty quick - Here in the good ole USA
sooner or later - for sure

we've got plenty of Angry People
here in theUSA - it's getting worse
more of them are going crazy
and hurting other people
innocent strangers -
but it's not organized in any effective way here.

-the thing about England & the UK
is that it's becoming repetitive.
it seems to be the same "disaffected"
muslim youth acting out these "atrocities"
Which are Murders of course -

young guys who may have been born in England
or who moved there as kids
but they must have felt/been alienated
at some point in their lives
in order to muster up the nerve
to perpetrate the thing

it's gotta be anger that is the driving force
the motivation to make it happen -
blind anger - but - i'm guessing some or all
of these under 30 y/o men were angry about something

and if they just never felt like they
fitted in to society - or they just thought
that the society they were being offered
Was Insane - and they didn't want that.

my point is - it's gonna be "easy"
for the Police to recognize who were the
potential next bad actors -
the cops are gonna know who they are
and Honestly - i feel like the Muslim Society
in general in England are gonna co-operate totally

Plenty of them are "bought in" to the British society
heart and soul they are Brits
whether born and raised in the Uk
or moved there when they were kids
but they bought in - somehow -
they are still muslims
but they are educated and consider themselves
Brits first in a situation like this

they are gonna be the reason
that the "potentially" disaffected young men
are profiled and turned in by their own families
and neighbors and people who know/knew them

and then it's up to the police to figure out
the proper way to "respond" to the "situation"
and i can only guess - but - i imagine -
certain basic civil rights are gonna be suspended
"Temporarily" for a while...,
Martial Law would be a worse case scenario....

it's not a pretty picture but it can have
a happy ending if you guys figure out how to
Cope and Defeat the beast you are facing....

about that t-shirt -
I'll buy it off you doood -
and i'll wear it - more than likely
wear it out
PM me if you decide the shirt needs to be worn
it's nice art and nice colors too....
of course i understand if you decide you
want to keep it a a Memento of that time
that point in your life....

hope you are staying sane through all this steve

and then there is the election in a couple of daze
OMG has TMay bungled this one...?
