I have just seen the news about the London attack. My thoughts are with anyone who may have been present and with the world in general.

Peace would be refreshing change.

I'm having internet fail this morning.

London will pick itself up and get on with it. It's just depressingly senseless. It achieves / changes nothing.

...it's so Sad - Heartbreaking really -

that the anger and hatred that we all entertain from time to time
in a select few of the sick &/or horribly confused
can manifest into such an evil thing -

that's heartbreaking - but somehow London/england is gonna
get past it and get over it sort of

it takes a toll - the families & friends of the innocent victims
pay the Price for all the rest of us
but we suffer too - all around the globe -

i was just thinking the past few daze
one of the first trips i'm taking when my gf
gets up here from Mexico
is gonna be straight to London, Heathrow please
and then this happened
well - i'm still coming - absolutely - the odds of being involved in something like "that" are infinitesmal (very small)

personally - i think that guy was a total lone wolf
who just "lost it" somehow wanting to celebrate the
1 year anniversary of that other terror attack in
brussels -
he wasn't prepared for anything - if it was a serious
plot by a serious group i think they would have
gone the suicide bomb route - with a little help and guns
"they" coulda got right into the "grounds" and then blow themselves up -

that didn't happen - and i just don't think it will -

sorry to bring this up - i hope i don't offend any of you

it might seem a bit scary - it is -

but You/We, we don't have to be scared
it'll prob'ly make a lot more Londoners and Brits
call the cops on suspicious activities -

maybe there will be a "crackdown & Clampdown" of sorts
declaring a state of emergency and going all fascist on
select suspects..., suspending their rights,

that's the price we pay - for this kind of stuff

but - like i was saying - my impression
this guy was an amatuer -
SICK & WRONG for sure - but an amatuer
not part of any organized terrorist group

and if there are any organized terrorist groups
in Britain - i'm pretty sure the authorities know who they are
and are just waiting for the chance to pounce

sorry about the ramble
NO - i am not drunk
but i am pretty sad
that we/you have to endure another
taste of evil
but i'm not scared (easy for me in california?)
but i don't think too many of you are scared either
Mad & Sad - yeah
but scared - nope

i'm coming to London as soon as i can

Spring is here
the Season of Love

Let's Enjoy that in "their" honor
Without fear (they being the dead & injured)

Completely senseless is an absolutely honest assessment, Fogg. And, I agree with what you've said, Skweets...it's heartbreaking and sad...and it will happen again. But, it does get discouraging. I was more saddened by 9/11 than fearful. Anytime someone is taken in such a dramatic way we should feel sorrow. It's wonderful that you're heading to London soon. I am tenatively planning another trip but not until late 2018. I have to get through grad school first!

My heart is still there with those feeling this loss. Pain and loss are everywhere.

What did Lou Reed say?

"There's a bit of magic in everything, and some loss to even things out."

Yeah.

There is no panic, no fear, no despair in London town. London can take it.

I'm pleased you can too Skweets! That's the attitude.
