Wait, I didn't mean it like that...

Some of the chords are guesses, so corrections are welcome.

I have to put it in this "code" format otherwise there is no spacing of the chords. At least this is close. A fixed width font would be nice, Sean!!! And HTML is turned off in my post even when it is allowed in my profile. Rolling Eyes

Code:
Intro: C#m    G

C#m            A7         G#
Well I know you say now "very well done, me old son"

G    F#           G         F#        C#m
But it's hard to know, every day is a dark dark one

             A7         G#
Cus my old friend's here, tug tug tugging at my sleeve

G       F#                G      F#      A#m
You know he tugs so hard that he could almost make me leave

          F#         F
Light up your candles, into the dark we go

   D#          E     D#      Dm
To be a good man is all I want you know

          G#         C#m
Light up your candles, cus here we go

           A7                G#   G
It's a schlep this old life, just one slip and you are gone

F#         G       F#     C#m
Back into the void where you came from

             A7               G#   G
You can't light your own way through this dark unholy place

     F#           G     F#    A#m
With just one candle and a happy face

        F#                 F
So light it up now, fill the darkness with your grace

     D#           E     D#    Dm
With just one candle and a happy face

          G#            C#m
Light it up now, your happy face

C#m   G   C#m              C    B    Dm
      Yea...yea, yea, yea, yea, yea

          G#            C#m
Light it up now, your happy face

(solo under verse chords)

C#m           A7                   G#   G
It's too easy somehow, just grit your teeth and let it go

F#      G       F#
Last seduction, total destruction

C#m         A7              G#      G
So what you gonna do now with the good life you have found

F#              G         F#     A#m
Grin and bear it till you're six feet in the ground

A couple of corrections

The G should be G# and the Dm should be D#m. There are one or two other passing chords/notes not listed, but you'll find them when playing.

Nice work!
